NS 9th Anniversary Coming To An End

NS had it’s 9th anniversary in July, so we made August and September our celebration months with give-aways and fun! That period is now finished, and I thank everyone who participated and everyone who is an active member of NS!

Open forums period extended

I opened the forums for guests to view during our celebration months (August and September), and now I am extending that period to January 1st 2012!

Guests can post replies in the fanfiction forums

Since I extended the period the forums are opened for guests, I thought I would also allow guests to post replies in the fanfiction forums*. I will run this trial period through October, and if it goes well (meaning no spam/manageable spam), I might extend that period as well to January 1st 2012, to match our open forums for guests period. For more information, read the NS Forums Guests can post replies in the fanfiction forums thread.

* Not the fanfiction graveyard forums.

October’s fanfiction challenge: “Dark and Stormy Night”

October brings on the creepy factor so for this challenge, you must begin with the cliche line “It was a dark and stormy night…” What happens to Chloe and Lex on this dark and stormy night depends on you. Do they get caught in the rain on a long and winding road? Do they stay inside and learn each other’s deep dark secrets? Does a slasher villain terrorize the seemingly idyllic town of Smallville?
