Summary: Part Chlex interview gone wrong, and part mission impossible. Chloe and Lex go on an exciting adventure where corruption is revealed and the possibility of romance is uncovered.
Review: I choose this fanfic because it has it all: Chlex banter that is humorous and flirty, but also slightly edgy, a Chloe who is at her snarky investigative reporter best, and a Lex who is a clever businessman but still noble in his intentions to protect Chloe from harm. The action adventure scenes highlight Chloe and Lex’s natural bravery in the face of danger, and reinforces their partners in crime vibe.
For me, this fanfic showcases what was best about S3: a classic Chlex friendship with a healthy dose of UST which leads to the possibility of more.
