1) If you could visit any place at any time period, where would you go and what would you do?

It has always seemed like fun to be able to visit New York or Chicago in the 1930’s. At least it looks like fun on TV.

I would probably just walk around enjoying the scenery and study the people. Listen to jazz and blues.

If I could avoid getting eaten, I would want to visit the dinosaur period! That would be really cool, to see these creatures in the flesh!

2) Have you ever met anyone famous?

*Thinks real hard*. I have met one comedian in Norway, can’t remember his name though. He hosted a trick-people show years ago, and my class was a part of one of the plays I remember. That was kind of fun, being a stunt person on a TV show.

I have seen the current prime minister in Norway on the street, but that’s nothing big as you can get real up close and personal with them here in Oslo.

3) If you could meet any famous person, alive or dead, who would it be and what would you say/do?

There’s not anyone in particular I’d like to meet. Perhaps meeting someone like Ella Fitzgerald and listening to them perform live in a smokey club! Lol!

If I could have a small fangirl-moment, I would probably want to meet Tomohisa Yamashita, a Japanese actor and singer. I’m a huge fan of his, and always watch his appearances and series. He just seems like a really nice and down to earth person. What I would do to him? *cough…*. Haha, no seriously, it would just be fun to do something simple like having lunch and talking.

4) If you could switch lives with any person, who would you choose and why? If you want to switch with a person who is dead, we’ll assume that you wanted to live their life while he/she was alive.

Hm, I actually like my own life very well, but sometimes I wish I could trade places with my best friend. She has a wonderful husband, a great apartment and from the looks of it a great life.

But, we all have our problems, it’s just not always apparent to the other person looking

5) Who is your favorite author, alive or dead, and why?

At the moment it’s probably either Liza Marklund (Swedish author) or Natsuo Kirino (Japanese author). Marklund writes really excellent crime stories based in Stockholm. I read Kirino because I love Japanese culture, she writes really well and it’s fun reading stories from places I’ve been.

6) What is your favorite book and why?

Hm, perhaps Natsuo Kirino’s “Out”, a crime thriller based in Tokyo. It’s probably my favourite because I recognize some of the street names in the book, and it’s really well written and I had a hard time putting it down because it was really good. A bit grotesque, but awesome nonetheless!

7) Who is your favorite singer, alive or dead, and why?

I don’t really have one favourite, I tend to switch a lot depending on my mood. At the moment I listen a lot to Meisa Kuroki (Japanese), Koda Kumi (Japanese), Rain (Korean), Wang Dong Cheng (Taiwanese) and Danson Tang Yu Zhe (Taiwanese).

8.) What is your favorite song and why?

Woah, my favourite song changes from week to week I’m afraid. I don’t have an all-time favourite, but my favourites at the moment is “Do you hear the alarm?” and “THIS IS CRAZY” by Meisa Kuroki (Japanese singer).

I just really like the rhythm of the songs! It’s seldom I pay attention to the lyrics really, I’m more into the rhythm of songs and how they make me feel that way.

Do you hear the alarm: http://www.last.fm/music/%E9%BB%92%E…r+the+Alarm%3F

This is crazy: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x8z…razy_lifestyle

9) What is your favorite movie and why?

I have two that I can think of at this moment. One is Twister, a tornado movie with Helen Hunt. It’s old, but still awesome. It’s a really good action movie, especially with a surround system.

The other is Jack Frost, a cute Christmas story about a guy who turns into a snowman I love watching it during the holidays as it’s a really nice Christmas movie

10) What is your favorite television show and why?

Hm. Difficult question as I like to watch a lot of different series, and from different parts of the world. I watch a lot of American and Japanese series, with some Taiwanese and Thai series as well.

One of my all time favourites though, is Firefly. It was really cool and entertaining, and it’s a shame it got cancelled :/

I also really like Roswell (mostly season 1 and 2, not so much 3). It’s a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine, as I know it’s a silly and teeny series, but I can’t help but like the lovey dovey mushy storyline.

11) Who is your favorite actor/actress, alive or dead, and why?

I have to say Angelina Jolie, lol. I don’t know why, I just like her. I think she does a great job displaying different characters.

12) What is the one movie/television show that you would never admit to family, friends, co-workers that you watch? Yes, I know asking defeats the point, but spill your guts anyway.

Well, I probably wouldn’t tell too many people that I watched the Hannah Montana movie on the plane home from Thailand, and liked it

13) When and why did you decide to create NS?

NS was originally a merge with two sites, my own and Warunee’s Chlex based websites. We decided to join ours together to create a more central place for Chlex and it’s fans. With the help of other fans and our members, the site grew quite big and we invested in the forums as you guys know it today.

14) Do people in your Real Life know that you are the admin for NS?

Some people know, but not everyone. Those who know thinks it has a funny name, but think it’s cool I’ve managed to build up such an active community. I remember telling one guy about it, and at first he laughed at it, but when he saw I had a lot of members and new ones joining each day he thought it was slightly impressive.

15) When you aren’t solving problems on the board and using the bitchstick, what do you do and/or want to be doing?

I’m always looking for ways to improve NS, such as making new themes for the forums, adding new features for the forums, making new network sites etc etc.

Off the Internet I try and hang out with friends, drink lots of coffee and study Japanese. I also read books and watch a lot of TV, probably too much TV

16) What is the hardest part of running NS?

Hm. These days it pretty much runs itself. Before it was a bit difficult to keep everything managed as I didn’t have much staff or moderators helping me out. But now that I do have an awesome staff I can concentrate more on making NS even better .

Perhaps coming up with new refreshing ideas that will make the community grow, that’s pretty hard sometimes.

17) What is your creative process when making banners and skins for the site?

I don’t have a particular process, I just often listen to music and have Photoshop open and play with images, and suddenly I’m on the verge of making something I think might be cool.

I often find inspiration from other members and artists online, and just play around in Photoshop.

18) How and why did you first get interested in Chlex? What do you like most about the characters? What do you hate about them?

I think it was Warunee* who got me interested in the first place. I remember she being a member of the Truthseekers on fanforums, and she urged me to join up. I guess I watched a couple of episodes or clips and found the characters interesting. I’ve usually liked the unconventional couples on shows, like Pacey/Jen on Dawson’s Creek.

I like that they speak their minds and do what they think is right. Note that I haven’t watched Smallville since season three and I know a lot about their characters have changed since then. But the season three characters I know were awesome and had a spine, unlike other characters… *cough*.

There’s nothing hate worthy in the Chlex I know. Perhaps they became more despicable in later seasons, I don’t know.

* Warunee was the co-founder and former admin on NS.

19) Why are you fascinated with Japan and Japanese culture?

I guess a big part of it is because it’s a completely different culture than my own Norwegian culture.

20) How and why did you get involved with/decided to study web design?

I’ve always been interested in computers, and started playing on it at a very young age as my dad is also very interested in this technology. I used to play kid’s games when I was smaller on a computer, and I guess it just grew from there.

I made my first website when I was around 12 years old, and found it very interesting and fun to fiddle with. I quickly figured out that I wasn’t interested in a ‘plain’ education (called ‘Allmenn’ in Norway, which is a plain education type where you can move onto a lot of other fields later on), so I enrolled in a school that taught media and communication, where web design was a part of it. I’ve just found it to be a very interesting media, and love learning new techniques and things, so I also decided to take my bachelor’s degree in IT with a concentration on interactive design!

21) Do you ever dream of ditching the lot of us and running away to some place where we’ll never find you?

Haha! There have been times when I’ve gotten so frustrated with the site that I wanted to give it up and move on. Especially during the times when Smallville has sucked beyond reason or something sad has happened on NS like being hacked or something alike. But then I think about all of the awesome people who frequent on NS, and the friends I’ve made here.

Personally I don’t watch Smallville anymore; I stopped watching it around season 3! So the only reason NS is alive today is because of it’s awesome members who make it more of a community than a Smallville fan page.

And I know a lot of people like NS, and there are new members joining each day. It does cost a lot having NS up and running, but thanks to the help of some really nice people I can manage to keep it afloat (Thanks guys! )!

22) Have you ever gone to another website and thought “I could do a better job of running this place”?

Everyone has their own way of running a place, or a business. I’m sure people think the same way about NS when they visit, that they could do it better. I probably make a lot of mistakes or weird decisions that make you guys go ‘huh?!’ on me.

The important thing is listening to your users, as they are your customers and users. If it weren’t for them, you wouldn’t have a place to run.

So yes, I have gone to other websites and thought that, but then again, their target user group might be different from NS’s, and I don’t want to judge anyone for how they run their place .

23) Have you ever visited another website and wished you had thought of the design and/or programs?

All the time. I don’t have any particular examples at the moment, but I stumble upon other websites and wish I knew how to do this and that, and that I would have thought of it first But I also learn a lot from these websites, from the way they structure it to the graphics and content.

24) Do you see Chloe and Lex or other Smallville characters in different television shows or movies? Meaning, do you watch a movie like Star Wars and start thinking that Lex is just like Han Solo?

Hm, nothing has popped up that made me think ‘Ooooh that is SO Lex/Chloe’ but perhaps I’m just not that familiar with the characters that I can see a definitive resemblance.

25) What do you think AM and MR would say if they knew about NS?

I think they would probably laugh of the name [naughty-seduction.net], but hopefully think it’s kind of cool having a website who dig their characters on the show.

26) If you could have any super power, what would it be and why? Would you use it for good or evil?

Perhaps something like being able to hear other people’s thoughts. In the sense of course that I could control the data coming in.

People are such a mysterious being! Sometimes you have people figured out, other times you don’t. It would be cool to be able to really read a person, to see if their intentions are pure and if they mean what they say to you.

I guess this wish comes from a bit of a recent personal experience. One of the girls in the gang apparently hates my guts! And I had no idea; neither did another friend of mine who’s also a friend of the person who can’t stand me. If I could read that person’s mind, I could have figured out the reason to her disliking me, and we wouldn’t be having this awkward triangle thing going on :/
