This blog was started on December 12th 2008, as a place to gather all news about the NS network in one place. Hopefully it’ll be a place where you can get all your desired news!
For the time being it is being maintained by Julie, the site administrator, but I hope to include more of the NS Forums users in the future to help me keep this as updated as possible 
A little history of how NS came to life…
I found this browsing through some old screenshots of NS available online. And on one of those shots, the old about us page still existed. Here’s how we wrote about NS in 2002-2003-ish I think.
N-S.Net was a merge between two very small ChLex sites, Clandestine and Irresistible. (Clandestine then owned by Julie, and Irresistible owned by Warunee)
We created N-S.Net because we wanted to unite the fans, and have a place where all ChLex fans could get their daily dose. We thought about buying a domain for some time, and then we did buy on June 23rd 2002.
We registered our domain at GoDaddy.com, which is a very good place. We are hosted by Valcato.net. It’s good sometimes, not so bad prices if you don’t need very much space and bandwidth. The server goes down sometimes, but it usually doesn’t last for long.
We’ve both been into webdesign for some time now, Julie a little more obsessed than Warunee, but we help each other out. Warunee makes most of the manips, because she rocks with them, and Julie doesn’t rock in that department. Julie, on the other hand, works on the HTML’ing.
We’ve noticed that, well, we’re growing old and we’re not keeping up as good as we could. We see 11 year olds making supersites that get 1500 hits a day, who write their own scripts and know much, much more on PHP, SSI, and that stuff than we do. And, damn, we’ve done this for 4 (Julie) and 2 (Warunee) years now, made our first sites when we were 11 and 15, but we still don’t know as much as we’d like too.
You might also be wondering about the name. Well, it’s mostly an inside joke from the people of the forum FanForum.com, on the Smallville board there. It was a bit funny, and also surprising that no-one had snatched it before us.
Our goal is to make this a great site. Endless of contents and just make it a fun place to surf. We hope that we have, or will some day.
