Summary: From Gemkat5’s own words: Lex takes Chloe to an island for her to investigate the effects of a meteor shower there… and nothing goes as expected!
Review: This story was beyond adorable, and it was filled with witty banter, a sparkling romance and an extremely inventive action/adventure plot.
I liked that Chloe’s interest in the meteor rocks is what starts the story off, and that it stays true to Chloe’s true investigative reporter instincts. She and Lex are both shown to be truthseekers as well as brave compatriots, and their slowly falling in love with each other is a joy to read.

1) If you could visit any place at any time period, where would you go and what would you do?
I would go back and visit when Jesus was born. I would love to see him as a baby. LOL!!!
2) Have you ever met anyone famous?
No unless you count seeing Phillip Michael Thomas from Miami Vice driving down the same street as me and my friend. LOL!!
3) If you could meet any famous person, alive or dead, who would it be and what would you say/do?
There are so many I want to meet that I have no clue who it would be and what I would say or do to them.
4) If you could switch lives with any person, who would you choose and why?
I would love to switch places with Wonder Woman. I always wanted to wear her outfit and fly the invisible plane and use the lasso of truth on people. That is so cool.
5) Who is your favorite author, alive or dead, and why?
I love Mya Angelou because her words just speak to me . I feel inspired when she writes and want to do more with my life.

Updates on the fanfiction challenges

Just in case you haven’t read/seen this over at the forums, here’s a little update on how the discussion is going on the future of the fanfiction challenges. There’s been a debate about the format of the challenges, as well as how they are being handled from staff side, so we have paused the challenges for now until we can come up with a solution that hopefully will make all sides happy!
For those of you who are wondering about the status of the fanfiction challenges, me and Skauble are almost finished, we are just working on some of the finishing touches before we launch a new theme
And I kindly ask you that, if you have some comments on the newNEW format of the challenges, you contact me directly! Thank you!

Valentine’s Day Weekend Event

We hosted a Valentine’s Day event this past week to put our own Chlexy spin on the traditional Valentine’s Day celebration.
The entire weekend, from February 12th until February 14th, was dedicated to this special Valentine’s Day event. Members of NS Forums could comment on artwork, fanfiction and music videos and gather points which they could collect as free paid subscription days!
User activity started a bit slow, but increased as the weekend progressed. And it ended on a good note!
